I am waking up to my first morning in Hong Kong - for this trip, at least. Yesterday I had a three hour layover in Narita, Japan - and I saw a bunch of young hipster trekkers and wondered how much impact Lost in Translation has had on Japanese tourism.

We are staying with friends (Martin and Albert) - but Martin had to go to Manilla - yesterday - and he is heading to Bangkok for the weekend so we might rearrange our "plans" - if you can call them that - to go with Albert to meet up with Martin in Bangkok for a few days.

I have to meet with Henry and Ivy in Hong Kong - but I can do that any time.

We expect to be over here for about four to five weeks - with about two weeks in Cambodia. That is the only itinerary we have - so even I don't know what comes next.

We'll see.
